Rajnath Singh Hails Operation Sindoor as a Landmark Moment in India’s Defence History

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has described Operation Sindoor as one of the most significant achievements in India’s military history, highlighting its strategic importance and the bravery of the armed forces involved.

Addressing a gathering in New Delhi, the minister stated that the operation stands as a testament to India’s growing defence capabilities and its firm resolve to safeguard national interests. He emphasized that the Indian Armed Forces have consistently demonstrated professionalism, precision, and courage in the face of evolving security challenges.

Operation Sindoor was carried out in response to a major terror incident in Jammu and Kashmir. The mission involved coordinated action by multiple branches of the military, targeting key terror infrastructure and delivering a strong message against cross-border threats.
