Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Dhiraj Seth concluded a two-day visit to the Indian Army’s Central Command on August 4-5, carrying out a detailed assessment of the command’s operational preparedness and ongoing capability enhancement efforts. The visit reflects the Army’s continued focus on maintaining combat-ready formations capable of responding effectively to an evolving security landscape.
Throughout the visit, the Army Chief received comprehensive operational briefings from senior commanders covering the command’s security responsibilities, force readiness, training standards, logistics, and infrastructure development.
