Ukraine and India have stepped up diplomatic engagement amid growing security concerns in the Black Sea, with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha holding a phone conversation with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Wednesday.
During the discussion, Sybiha briefed Jaishankar on what he described as the difficult situation in the Black Sea, citing intensified attacks on Ukrainian ports and maritime routes. The Ukrainian foreign minister highlighted the wider impact of disruptions to commercial shipping and food exports, particularly their potential implications for global food security.
