Silver Touch Technologies Limited has received a purchase order from the Space Applications Centre (SAC) of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space, for the supply, installation and support of high-end workstations at its facility in Ahmedabad. The order was disclosed by the company on September 26, 2026, with the project scheduled to be completed by February 2, 2027.
The assignment covers the deployment of specialised computing infrastructure designed for demanding professional and scientific workloads. The scope includes not only the supply of the workstations but also their installation and ongoing support, making execution and technical compliance important components of the contract. The financial value of the purchase order has not been disclosed.
According to the reported details, Silver Touch is required to complete the delivery and installation within approximately 18 weeks. The order follows technical procurement requirements set by SAC and adds a specialised space-sector computing project to the company’s growing portfolio of public-sector technology assignments.
The Space Applications Centre, based in Ahmedabad, is an ISRO centre involved in the development of space-application systems and related technologies. High-performance computing infrastructure is important for scientific, engineering, simulation and other technically intensive activities associated with such programmes.
The ISRO order comes after several other recent public-sector contracts secured by Silver Touch Technologies. These include a ₹5.05 crore IT infrastructure services order from Gujarat Energy Limited and a ₹5.12 crore IT support order from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited. In July 2026, the company also secured a contract from RITES Limited for the development of PARAKH, an AI-based project appraisal and intelligence platform.
The new order expands Silver Touch Technologies’ involvement in specialised computing and government technology projects. Successful completion of the SAC assignment by the February 2027 deadline will add to the company’s experience in supplying and supporting advanced IT infrastructure for government and scientific institutions.
